Nick Hakim Brooklyn Concert reviews
What a Logistical Nightmare!
"First, Nick Hakim was incredible! My issues are with the venue, not the performers! Arriving at 6:30 for a 7:00 pm show, parking was a bit tough. By the time we found the end of the huge line, it was 6:50. Then, it took 95 minutes to get in. Once inside, the venue checked tickets rigorously every time we left our seats. I had purchased five tickets and showed everyone the same screenshot to get in. The ticket people were mean and surly, and the line from the bathroom/drink area was a fiasco. Getting out was even worse, with no parking attendant to direct traffic. It took 65 minutes to leave, with chaos in the parking lot. From entering to leaving, it was a disappointing experience. I will not be back to Ak-chin anytime soon. This is not how it has to be. The COVID checks are necessary, but the system in place is not working. I spent $130 for one of the worst run concerts of my life. Not even a great performance can make up for how unhappy I was. I have been attending concerts in the valley for 30 years, and this was a letdown."
